Hi! You’re probably wondering how I got here…<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Well, it all started in a little Virginian town called South Riding. Ever heard of it? It’s okay; not many people have. We’re mainly known for fast food fried chicken, mediocre high school football teams, and last but certainly not least… Grammy award nominee, Jim Van Slyke!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After my critically acclaimed performance as Annie in Annie (Jr.) at J. Michael Lunsford Middle School (where I was unfortunately subjected to wearing an unsightly red wig), I made it my mission to somehow top that performance\u2013a goal I am still chasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I then went on to study at The Catholic University of America, obtaining my BM in Musical Theatre. And before you ask, yes, I was subject to zoom ballet classes in my 500 sqft apartment living room, which I shared with three roommates. What a time to be alive!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Since graduation, I have worked primarily in the DC metro area, in works such as Ride the Cyclone<\/em> at Arena Stage, King of the Yees<\/em>, Soft Power<\/em>, and Pacific Overtures<\/em> at Signature Theatre, Waitress and Dance Nation<\/em> at Olney Theatre Center, The Day You Begin<\/em> (US Premiere) at The Kennedy Center, and Shakespeare in Love<\/em> at Keegan Theatre\u2013where I was honored with a Helen Hayes Nomination for Outstanding Lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Offstage, you can find me running my business, JadeStone Inc., and living my best grandma life: knitting, reading, drinking coffee, tending to my plants and hanging out with my cat, BoBo (Govt. name: Booty or Bootyhole).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
